Kia has just debuted a completely redesigned Kia Telluride at the New York Auto Show. The biggest news is that the Telluride model line has added on two off-road optimized trims, the 2023 Kia Telluride X-Pro and X-Line models. Standard 2023 Kia Telluride Updates
Kia has yet to announce an official 2023 Kia Telluride release date or 2023 Kia Telluride price. We do, however, know quite a bit about the features of the 2023 Kia Telluride refresh. So, what’s new for the 2023 Kia Telluride? West Palm Beach drivers can expect the inclusion of the following features in the upcoming Telluride redesign:
- 12.3-inch touchscreen
- Optional 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster
- New dashboard with updated trim panels and HVAC vents
- New steering wheel
- 3.8L V6 engine with 291 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque
- Eight-speed automatic transmission
- Front- and all-wheel-drive configurations
- Standard Traffic Sign Recognition
- Improved forward-collision avoidance system
- New bumpers and grille
- Revised tail lamps
- Updated rear fascia and trim
- Redesigned lower door garnish and trim/side sills
- Fresh wheel designs for each trim level
- New exterior colors: Dawning Red, Midnight Lake Blue, and Jungle Wood Green
- 5,000 pounds of towing capacity
2023 Kia Telluride X-Pro & X-Line Trims
Now that West Palm Beach drivers know what’s new for the standard 2023 Kia Telluride, let’s take a closer look at the new off-road trims for the 2023 Kia Telluride. These include the X-Line and X-Pro. Here are just a few of these features each off-road configuration introduces to the Kia Telluride:
The 2023 Kia Telluride X-Line features:
- 20-inch wheels
- Roof rails
- Higher ground clearance by .4 inches for better departure and approach angles
- New traction control system with a towing mode with trailer sway control
The 2023 Kia Telluride X-Pro features:
- Smaller 18-inch wheels for enhanced off-roading
- Continental all-terrain tires
- Increased ground clearance
- 5,500 pounds of towing capacity
